PMG Power Blog: This Will Be Your Best Year Ever

I love the New Year’s holiday. It’s the perfect reminder to take a little time for reflection. Am I on track with my life and business plans? Which of my goals did I accomplish, and where might have I fallen a bit short?

Fortunately for me, it’s not my nature to dwell too long on my failures. That’s just how I’m wired. I learn what I can from them, and immediately begin focusing on the future. That’s the best part of the New Year’s tradition. It’s a reset! It’s a chance to wipe the slate clean, and start over with a fresh set of objectives for the New Year.

That’s great news for me, but I have even better news for you! This year, I took the liberty of reviewing your situation too. You can thank me later. I was happy to do it. Really.

Based on my analysis and understanding of your past year, I have discovered nine locked-down, take-to-the-bank reasons to believe YOU will have your best year ever in 2015. Don’t believe me? See for yourself:

1. You clearly understand it’s your career and your life. You are master and commander. You’ve become keenly aware that no one cares about your success, or failure, more than you. No one knows what you are capable of more than you. This reality has prompted you to develop your own success plan this year, based on your unique blueprint. It’s going to be fun to watch you win with it. 
   
   
2. You're taking better care of yourself than ever before. You’ve said it before, but this year it will be different. This year you are focused on your “why.” This year, your motivation is to live longer and do more for those people and causes you care about most. It’s not about your ego; it’s about what you will do with those extra years of life. I admire you for that!
   
   
3. You're grateful for all the blessings already in your life. You’ve finally figured it out. You now understand that gratitude is one of the building blocks of happiness and success. You’ve seen the impact of that already, so you are committed to being grateful every day. Your resulting positive mindset will serve as the spark for your best year ever. I can see it in your eyes.   
   
   
4. More people than ever need your help. Multiple studies have shown that the average American doesn’t have sufficient life insurance, and many of them know it! We also know many people have not saved enough for a decent retirement, and they don’t have an advisor to show them the way. They need the products and expertise you have to offer!
   
   
5. You have people around you that you can trust and help you succeed. You’ve figured out there are two kinds of trust, and you’re adding people to your inner circle that fit the profile. You have people in your life now that will hold you accountable. They will tell you what you need to hear, and you’ll listen because you know they are looking out for you. You’ve also done a great job of reaching out to experts for help. People who have been there. Advisors that can show you how to succeed because they have done it.
   
   
6. You know how to develop great daily habits. You and I both know the way to generate lasting change in our lives is through our daily habits. You know it takes only 21 days of sustained effort to create a new habit. You also know the best way to eliminate a bad habit is to replace it with a good one. That knowledge alone will change your life this year.
   
   
7. You have untapped resources available to you. This is the information age, baby! Everything you need to know is out there somewhere, and most of it is available for FREE. You just have to look for it, and take action when you find it. That will be a game-changer for you this year.
   
   
8. You're already making a difference. You are helping people already in more ways than you realize. Your new plan is just to do more of that! Like the late great Zig Ziglar, you understand that in order to get what you want, all you have to do is help more people get what they want. You are committed to this business because it’s work worth doing. Kudos to you.
   
   
9. You have passion for what you do. Your passion and commitment to your clients is inspiring. Your clients and your prospects can sense that in you immediately. Even those that don’t agree with you marvel at your passion for helping people and improving their financial situation. That emotional connection to your work is what will to keep your flame burning all year. You can’t fail with power like that.

Well, there you have it. I’ve made my case. The evidence is right in front of you. I don’t see how any rational person could come to a different conclusion.
