Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company Discontinues Sales of FG Guarantee-Plus Series and Simplicity Elite Series - July 17, 2015

At Fidelity & Guaranty Life we take great pride in providing you with competitive life insurance & annuity products.  However, we will be discontinuing new business sales of FG Guarantee-Plus 5 and 7 and Simplicity Elite 7, 10 and 14 traditional fixed deferred annuities effective July 17, 2015.

Why Discontinue Sales?

This business decision was made in response to the changing interest rate environment, market conditions and as part of an on-going effort to streamline and simplify our product offerings.

Business Transition Rules 

• Required new business paperwork must be received and in good order by Friday, July 17, 2015 and funded within 60 days.

AHLIC will increase the household discount from 5% to 7% on Medicare Supplement plans issued in Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Carolina, effective June 15, 2015. Agents will be able to order updated sales materials (application, outline of coverage, and rate guide) starting June 15, 2015. Begin using the new materials immediately.

No action needed to get the higher discount.

Eligible applicants and existing policyholders will receive the increased household discount.

It is with great pleasure to announce, EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2015 you have the opportunity to offer NOT ONLY ONE (1) BUT TWO (2) Home Health Care policies to your clients.

Note: When writing two (2) HHC plans on the proposed insured, please make sure to submit the following:

• TWO APPLICATIONS

• TWO OF ALL THE NECESSARY REQUIRED FORMS
